Tufty!

One of the Isle of Wight's natural gems, a red squirrel/Sciurus vulgaris, in the grounds of Appuldurcombe House near Ventnor. The Forestry Commission Forestry Commission/red squirrel estimate that there are only 140,000 red squirrels left in Britain, this is due to the introduction of the grey squirrel that carries the squirrel poxvirus, that is deadly to red's. Taken with a monopod supported Canon 400D and 300L IS lens and 2x converter.
